I was looking at my FB and some of my friends' FB till I realized something.
We went to University to study so that we can have good future, good job and if possible having luxury life. That time, we never even thought of other people especially saving a life.
I can see in the FB, some people are posting their stories, pictures of themselves traveling here and there, their expensive cars, branded handbags, living in a luxurious life, etc. (Including us...Hahaha). Why??
Then, I realized that what I learned in the University actually is very important for others. I might not be rich (like what I expected during my studies) nor am I famous. But I know I am important for others.
I, then, realized that saving people's life is the real satisfaction. They might be criminals but still they have someone behind them who in need of them. Those criminals still hold the title/s of "a son/daughter or a father/mother or a husband/wife to someone". Helping the criminals means helping their family. In fact, I am trying my very best to change them from criminals to good and honest citizens.
So, at the end of the day, it's not about how rich you are or how many
places you've visited or what car you are driving or even what you eat
today.. It's about what you do for others.
I have experienced people cried or even knelt in front of me just to thank me after saving them from the death sentence. At first, I felt happy for my success but now, I am happy because I have helped them and their family from loosing breadwinner.
For them, Chanel, Prada, BMW or anything luxurious is nothing compared to life....
